After you click on download button, find the the Video Notebook file in your downloads folder and click on it to start the installation process

Once the installation is complete, this message with show, prompting you to click and drag the Video Notebook app to your local applications folder.

Start a Zoom meeting to set up your Video Notebook account with Zoom

With the Zoom app open, Open the Video Notebook app from your Applications folder

Sign in or create an account with Video Notebook

Click "open system preferences" to authorize the Video Notebook app
Once you've signed in to your account, the following message will appear. Video Notebook needs permission to access your screen to save screenshots from a Zoom meeting. Unfortunately, the desktop app will not create screenshots if you do not permit access to your screen.

Grant access to your screen to allow Video Notebook to take screenshots during a Zoom meeting.
To allow Video Notebook to take screenshots during a Zoom meeting, you should go to your device's system settings and click on the "privacy tab". Once you are here, you should see the Video Notebook logo in the list of apps that are allowed to access your screen. Click the box next to it to allow Video Notebook access to your screen. This step is complete when you see a blue checkmark next to the Video Notebook logo.

Click "quit and reopen" to complete the set up

After that you will see this window. Click "Authorize" to give access to your Zoom Account. Sign in at the opened in your browser page.

When you take your first note or screenshot, the recording for this meeting will be linked to your note(s).

Click “Record to the Cloud.”  We can only access your cloud recordings, not the recordings on your local hard disk.

You can take as many notes or screenshots as you want during the meeting.

Click “Stop Recording” or end your meeting so that your recording is saved on the Zoom cloud server.

Tap on the VN icon at the top left corner to open your notebook in the Video Notebook web app.

In the Video Notebook web app you can see your notes for this video.  The “Recording processing” message indicates that the recording is not ready yet.

Once your recording is processed, you can access it from the Video Notebook web app by clicking “Open Recording.”
Uninstallation

Login to your Zoom account and navigate to the Zoom Marketplace

Click Manage > Installed Apps or search for the Video Notebook

Click Uninstall next to Video Notebook

Confirm dialogue, click Uninstall

If you use these apps and take notes on them, you need Video Notebook.
